Systemic post-emergence herbicide for controlling annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in cereal grain crops and corn.
Formulation and active ingredient
Emulsifiable concentrate containing 564 g/l of dichlorphenoxyacetic acid
Chemical class:
Phenoxyacetic acid derivatives
Packaging:
10 L drums
Speed of action:
On sensitive plants, growth stops within a few hours after application. Complete mortality occurs within 7-10 days depending on plant species, developmental stage, weather conditions.
Mode of action:
The active ingredient disrupts the biosynthesis of structural and enzymatic proteins, causing metabolic disturbances in the plant. It penetrates the plant through aerial parts (primarily through leaves) and actively moves within the plant, accumulating in young meristematic tissues of leaves, stems, and roots. Under the effect of epinasty, i.e., accelerated growth of upper leaf, stem, and petiole tissues, bending downwards, thickening of leading tissues, accompanied by increased turgor pressure. As a result, shoots and roots crack, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium uptake is reduced, and root system synthesis activity stops. Water exchange is disrupted, turgor pressure is lost, plants wilt and die.
Properties and advantages:
Selective herbicide for protecting cereal grain crops and corn, with a wide temperature range of application from +5 oС (compared to other 2,4-D based products, which work from +10 oС);
More effective than similar products in the 2,4-D group (more active at low temperatures);
Essential in areas with low rainfall, since 2,4-D Active acts particularly quickly under water-deficient conditions;
The active ingredient is a complex ester of 2,4-D, which has low volatility due to its exceptionally high chemical purity;
Has a lower application rate compared to 2,4-D, making it more environmentally friendly;
No crop rotation restrictions;
Ideal partner for tank mixes with sulfonylureas, dicamba, and glyphosate;
When applied in tank mixes with more expensive herbicides at half doses, it reduces the cost per hectare, without reducing their efficacy, but significantly enhances it due to synergism.
WHO classification, toxicological characteristics:
Class III (moderately toxic).
Shelf life and storage conditions:
Three years in sealed factory packaging at temperatures from +5 oС to +35 oС.
