Victory

VICTORY – a guar (Cyamopsis tetragonolobus) bean variety included in the state register for cultivation zones. The plant is erect, medium height, mono-stemmed, and glabrous. Leaves are green and also glabrous, while the pod hilum is straight and long.

Seeds of this variety are characterized by white-gray or yellowish-beige seed coats; black hilum coloration and dark pigmentation around it are absent. The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 34 g, while crude protein content is 31–31.3% and fat content is 18–18.2%. Seed yield ranges from 25.5–29 c/ha, and green mass yield is approximately 127 c/ha.

The vegetative period is 102–109 days, which is 18 days shorter than the standard. The variety demonstrates drought resistance and lodging resistance with a rating of 5.0 points for both characteristics. The attachment height of lower pods is 6 cm. Leaf drop at maturity reaches 82%, which is higher than the standard value of 33%. Gum content is 40–41%, and gum viscosity is from 6020 to 6680 units, making the variety suitable for mechanized harvesting.

VICTORY is intended for producing guar gum used for both feed and food purposes. The variety exhibits high quality indicators and is convenient for processing with modern agricultural technologies.
