Late-autumn variety selected at the Dubovskoy Selection Station for fruit crops of NIVNISKh, obtained by sowing seeds of the Bakhmal variety from open pollination. Breeders: R. V. Korneev and L. K. Zhukova. Widespread in the Volgograd region.
Trees medium-sized, moderately growing, with dense, broad-pyramidal crowns. Branches emerge from the trunk at a sharp angle, arranged compactly, with tips directed downward.
Shoots are medium-sized, straight, rounded, brownish-brown, bare. Leaves are small, elongated, egg-shaped, short-pointed, light green with a yellowish tint, smooth, matte, with delicate venation. Leaf blade is curved upward, without pubescence. Leaf margin is finely serrated. Petiole is long, medium thickness, bare.
Flower buds are smooth, medium-sized, elongated.
Fruits are medium or above-average size, average weight 150 g, maximum 200 g, one-dimensional, pear-shaped, well-formed, smooth. Skin is medium, smooth, dry, shiny. Color at harvest: main greenish-yellow, covering part of the fruit is strongly expressed, blurred, pinkish. Subcutaneous dots are numerous, medium-sized, gray, clearly visible. Pedicel is medium, thick, straight, oblique. No depression. Receptacle does not fall off. Calyx is small, narrow, ridged. Heart is small, elliptical. Subcalyx tube is short, bowl-shaped.
Flesh is white, tender, oily, very juicy, slightly acidic-sweet, with a weak aroma, excellent flavor. Fruits contain 19.4% dry matter, 13.2% sugars, 0.4% titratable acids, 0.6% pectin substances, 3.6 mg/100g ascorbic acid.
Harvesting ripeness occurs in mid-September, consumer ripeness in October–December.
Trees begin fruiting on the 4th–5th year after planting in the orchard as one-year seedlings. High and annual yield. Cold and drought resistance of the variety are high. Very weakly affected by scab.
Advantages of the variety: high ecological stability, yield, fruit quality.
Disadvantages of the variety: low transportability of fruits during consumer ripeness.
