Summer variety developed at the South-Ural Research Institute of Fruit, Vegetable and Potato Growing by E. A. Falkenberg from crossing varieties Pоздняя Ч Маленькая радость. The seedling was selected into elite in 1987. It was officially approved for the Ural region in 2002.
Plantings of this variety are present in experimental fields of the South-Ural Institute of Fruit, Vegetable and Potato Growing, in commercial plantations and among amateur gardeners in the Ural and West Siberian regions.

Trunk conical, slightly twisted. Bark on the trunk and main branches flaking, greenish. Fruit clusters — simple and complex clusters, short fruit spurs, fruiting on last year’s growth.
Shoots medium, straight, brown, hairy. Leaves medium, broad, round, slightly pointed at the tip, green, with delicate venation. Leaf blade curved downwards, hairless. Leaf margin finely serrated. Petiole long, thick, hairy. Stipules large, lanceolate.

Fruits below average size, average weight 90 g, maximum up to 120 g, medium uniformity, bergamot-shaped, round. Skin tender, smooth, oily, shiny. Color at harvest: main green, covering red only partially. At consumer ripeness: main color greenish-yellow, covering color strongly expressed purple- or dark-red over most of the fruit. Fruit appearance very attractive, which gave the variety its name. Many lenticels, gray, clearly visible. Peduncle short, straight. No depression. At the depression site, irregular-shaped growths form (variety characteristic). Seed chamber half-open, small. Sub-cup tube long, narrow. Seeds large, broad, dark-brown.

Fruits contain 13% dry matter, 11.2% sugars, 0.49% acids, 8.5 mg/100g ascorbic acid.
Blooms in mid-season, May 15-20. Pollinator varieties — Severyanka, Raduzhnyaya.
Ripening period early, summer.
Fruits store up to 15 days in a refrigerator, recommended for fresh consumption and juice.
Enters fruiting at age 5. High yield, up to 40 kg from 10-year-old trees.
No signs of scab, pear gall mite or bacterial burn were observed over the years.
Propagated by grafting onto seedlings of Ussuri pear.
Pruning in early years is formative, then sanitary; in 20-25-year-old trees, they respond well to rejuvenating pruning. Planting scheme in the garden: 6 x 3 m.
Advantages of the variety: high fruit taste quality, attractive appearance.
