Description VENETS
Peas of the VENETS variety are an ultra-early vegetable variety with a plant height from 90 to 120 cm. The plants are strong, dark green in color, forming two pods on one node, each containing from 9 to 12 grains. The beans are straight, green in color, medium length and width, with a blunt end, while there is no parchment layer, which makes them especially tender and tasty. The size of the fruits reaches up to 10 cm, providing a good yield of technical ripeness of up to 0.5 kg per square meter.

The VENETS variety is characterized by an average ripening period of about 55-60 days, which allows it to be used for the fresh market, freezing and canning. Thanks to its high resistance to fusarium wilt and high temperatures, this pea is suitable for growing in various climatic conditions and at different sowing times. The concentrated setting of pods on top of plants contributes to high productivity and ease of harvesting.

To obtain a stable and long-lasting harvest, it is recommended to carry out several sowings during the spring with a seed depth of about 4 cm and a planting scheme of 15x8 cm. Harvesting usually takes place in June-July. In addition, peas VENETS enriches the soil with nitrogen, making it an excellent predecessor for subsequent crops, contributing to improving fertility and soil structure.
