Roxelana mustard is a highly effective agricultural product intended for cultivation as both a vegetable and a cover crop. The seeds are characterized by excellent germination (97–99 %) and purity (98–99 %), ensuring stable yield and fruit quality. When sown, the rate is 10–12 kg per hectare, with a vegetative period of about 92 days.
The variety is distinguished by rapid germination: seedlings appear within 5–7 days after sowing at temperatures not lower than +5 °C. The plant grows quickly, requires minimal care, and adapts well to various soils. During the active growth phase, it is beneficial to fertilize with nitrogen, although additional fertilization is not mandatory. The average water requirement allows its use in both open gardens and home conditions.
Roxelana mustard serves not only as a food product – its seeds are used as a spice due to good taste qualities – but also as a cover crop to improve soil fertility. The variety helps replace fungicides and insecticides, fights weeds, and improves soil structure. Seeds are packaged in 25 or 50 kg bags, and are also available in large volumes of 100 kg and more, making them convenient for farmers and gardeners of any scale.
