Description Petrivka
The currant variety Petrivka, also known as Grusheñka, is a frost-resistant garden variety with high yields and excellent fruit flavor. This variety is resistant to spring frosts, drought, and heat, and also has immunity to numerous diseases, including powdery mildew, septoria, and viral infections. Due to these characteristics, Petrivka currant requires minimal care and adapts well to various soil types.

The bushes are medium-sized, moderately spreading, and practically thornless, which facilitates harvesting. The berries are pear-shaped and have a rich red-purple color, which turns almost black when fully ripe. The average weight of the berries is 4 to 7 grams, and overripe fruits do not drop off, allowing the harvest to remain on the bushes for a longer period.

With proper care, including regular feeding, adequate watering, and annual pruning, one bush can yield up to 6 kilograms of sweet and aromatic berries for approximately 20 years. Due to its unique qualities and low maintenance requirements, the Petrivka variety is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking a stable and abundant harvest of delicious berries.
