Gladiolus Taifun

Reliability and Aesthetic Maintenance

The 'Typhoon' gladiolus is a choice for those who prioritize predictability in gardening. Developed by the I.V. Michurin Federal Research Center, this variety offers high adaptability to various climate conditions. For the garden operator, this plant acts as a 'workhorse'—it requires minimal intervention while delivering consistent, high-quality results.

Agronomics and Operational Comfort

• Planting and Care: The variety is low-maintenance. Standard planting depths (10-15 cm) and routine watering are sufficient for healthy vegetation. The robust root system ensures easy establishment across diverse soil types.
• Blooming Dynamics: The key advantage of 'Typhoon' is its extended blooming period. The 13-15 cm lilac flowers retain their visual appeal longer than many counterparts, reducing the frequency of deadheading required.
• Resilience: This variety shows excellent recovery after adverse weather. The stalk is rigid enough to withstand wind gusts without the need for complex support structures, significantly saving time on plot maintenance.

If you are looking for a crop that combines the aesthetic impact of large, lilac blooms with minimal labor requirements to keep your beds tidy, 'Typhoon' is a reliable asset for your garden.
