AQUARIUS CALLA

The Gladiolus cultivar "AQUARIUS CALLA" is a tall plant with a sturdy, straight scape and medium green leaves. The inflorescence is long, two-rowed, of medium density, and consists of 21-23 large flowers, of which 8-10 open simultaneously. The flowers have an open form with egg-shaped, wide perianth segments that are intensively pleated-guaffed, giving them an expressive texture. The flower color is emerald-freesia with a bright thin border on a light cream spot, and the color does not fade in the sun. Blooming is early-medium, lasting 10-14 days, which allows the cultivar to be used universally for both decorative purposes and cutting.

A feature of the cultivar is its warm emerald-pink coloring with a cream lower petal, framed by a bright red or orange-red border. The round-shaped petals differ in dense texture with wavy guaffings and beautiful pinches, which gives the flowers additional decorativeness and attractiveness. The spike is dense and two-rowed, which ensures high-quality cutting and long-lasting preservation of flowers in a vase.
