Gladiolus AQUARIUS CALLA

Inflorescence Architecture and Morphological Precision

The 'Zov Vodoleya' cultivar, developed by Andrey Nikolaevich Gromov, is a prime example of refined gladiolus engineering. The variety is distinguished by a meticulously balanced spike structure, carrying 8–10 open florets. This design choice is not merely aesthetic; it ensures the plant maintains its structural integrity and verticality against environmental stress, reducing the need for aggressive staking in commercial or garden settings.

Technical Specifications of the Decorative Node

• Petal Texture: High-density fabric with deep, sophisticated ruffling. This physical robustness minimizes wilting and maintains the flower’s architectural integrity long after harvest.
• Color Profile: A distinct, crisp cream hue. The rarity of this specific tone makes it a premium asset for high-end floral design and specialized landscaping.
• Blooming Dynamics: Engineered for extended decorative endurance. The gradual, stable opening of the buds ensures a prolonged display period, which is a vital metric for professional floriculture and vase-life longevity.

The practical utility of 'Zov Vodoleya' spans from intensive cut-flower production to high-visibility landscape projects. Due to its stable genetic lineage maintained by A.N. Gromov, the cultivar demonstrates reliable vegetative propagation and maintains its decorative traits consistently under standard agronomic management. It is a functional choice for growers seeking a balance between complex, high-value aesthetics and operational reliability in the field.
