Gladiolus MODRU PROGRAM GLADIOLUS

Technical Specifications and Performance

The «Modru Programm» gladiolus is a product of professional selection by Vyacheslav Kolos, specifically engineered for high aesthetic impact and structural durability in the field. This variety is highly regarded for its color saturation and the resilience of its inflorescence.

Morphology and Field Performance

• Floral Architecture: The deep violet blooms reach a diameter of 9–11 cm. With a plant height of 120–140 cm, the variety provides excellent proportions, making it ideal for professional floral arrangements and cutting. The density of the flower spikes ensures a long-lasting bloom and stability during handling.
• Environmental Resilience: One of the primary engineering advantages of this cultivar is its high resistance to adverse weather conditions. The sturdy stem architecture minimizes lodging, even in areas prone to wind, allowing for better field performance.
• Cultivation Requirements: As a non-hardy bulbous plant, «Modru Programm» requires annual lifting of corms before the onset of winter. Proper storage in a controlled, cool environment (3–5°C) is essential for maintaining plant vigor and preventing disease degradation.

The combination of striking color intensity and reliable plant height makes this variety a preferred choice for both decorative garden displays and commercial floriculture. Its decorative quality is sustained by a robust growth habit that performs reliably under proper cultivation protocols.
