Description Pilaround

"Pilaround" — a non-selective herbicide with systemic action, capable of moving through the plant, from above-ground parts to roots.

The herbicide "Pilaround" is intended for the eradication of monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous, annual and perennial weeds, for desiccating cereal crops prior to harvest and for weed control.

Mode of action. Weed destruction occurs because glyphosate inhibits the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids in plants and affects cell membrane permeability, leading to osmotic pressure changes and, ultimately, destruction of cellular structures.

Spraying is carried out during intense weed growth and development, when they reach 15-25 cm. The effect of the preparation becomes noticeable on annual weeds within 2-4 days, on perennials — after 10 or more days. Signs of the preparation's action — gradual wilting, yellowing, and then browning of leaves.

Recommended dosage: for sugar beet and corn (spraying weeds during vegetative growth before crop emergence) — 2-5 dm3/ha, for potatoes (spraying weeds during vegetative growth before crop emergence) — 1.5-2 dm3/ha, for non-agricultural land (spraying weeds during active growth) — 3-6 dm3/ha and other crops.
