Pointer — systemic herbicide for post-emergence control of broadleaf weeds.

The herbicide stops cell division in sensitive weeds, resulting in cessation of their growth within several hours after application. Visible symptoms appear within 5-8 days, and weed death occurs within 12-21 days. Warm and humid weather increases herbicide activity, while cool and dry weather slows it down.

Selectivity

Pointer is selective towards wheat, barley, and rye from 2 leaves up to the flag leaf.

Best efficacy — from the 3-leaf stage to the first internode of the crop, corresponding to the weed development stage from 3 to 6 leaves.

Pointer is generally more effective when applied at early stages of actively growing annual weeds.

It is important to monitor weed development stages to determine the most effective period for using Pointer.

Effective against perennial weeds

Pointer controls key perennial weeds in cereal crops, including pink clover. Its systemic action allows it to penetrate through leaves to roots and stems. Since Pointer is absorbed by leaves, it should be applied when all weeds have emerged and well-developed. The best control period for pink clover is during the rosette stage — beginning of stem elongation.
