Three-component herbicide against annual broadleaf and some grassy weeds in sugar beet, fodder beet, and table beet crops.
Selectivity
Betalon-X, 27% EC combines high herbicidal efficacy of active substances affecting a wide spectrum of weeds with excellent protection of crop plants. This selectivity is based on the fact that active substances are hydrolyzed in sugar beet and form chemical compounds that occur at night. In weeds affected by the herbicide, active substances do not degrade.
Application
One of the strong points of the herbicide Betalon-X, 27% EC is flexible dosing, which allows appropriate regulation and minimization of the amount of the product applied. Depending on weed growth stage, crop vegetation conditions, and application method, the application rate may vary from 1.0 L/ha to 3.0 L/ha per treatment. The total maximum application rate during the season is 3.0 L/ha. The optimal and effective weed control scheme for crops is three applications at 1.0 L/ha per treatment, if weeds are in the cotyledon stage. At this point, the growth stage of sugar beet is irrelevant.
Compatibility
To adapt crop protection systems to local conditions or when combining herbicide applications with other crop protection measures for sugar beet, Betalon-X, 27% EC can be mixed with other plant protection products.
Application Features
Weak initial growth and strong competition from weeds in young sugar beet plants require that weeds be eliminated over a prolonged period. Application of the herbicide Betalon-X, 27% EC for sequential multiple treatments after emergence ensures long-term weed control.
It is recommended to conduct up to three treatments for sequential weed emergence control. The first application should be conducted at the cotyledon stage of weeds. The second/third applications should be conducted when subsequent weed emergence also occurs at the cotyledon stage. Late application timings require increased product dosage, and in case of delayed application on fields infested with weeds such as mustard, it is recommended to add a tank mix partner.
Total number of applications may vary within the maximum seasonal dosage. If necessary, the post-emergence application program using Betalon-X, 27% EC can be implemented after pre-emergence application using soil-applied herbicides, or can be combined with mechanical weed control.
Advantages
control of a wide spectrum of weeds, including the most problematic weeds in sugar beet crops (such as white mustard, shepherd’s purse, all crucifers)
complete absence of crystallization and sedimentation of the product
possibility of tank mixing with other products to address specific weed control tasks on a particular field
ease of storage and application
simplicity of preparing the working solution and applying the product
flexibility in application, timing, and dosage, allowing easy adaptation of the product to required conditions
compliance with high ecological standards
