Highly effective protection for sugar beet in pre-emergence and combined protection programs. A universal herbicide that provides highly effective protection for sugar beet against annual dicots, especially problematic (bindweed, mustard, etc.) and some grass weeds
Active ingredient: linacil 800 g/kg
Formulation: wettable powder
Chemical group: pyrimidine derivatives
Packaging: 1 kg
Advantages of using the herbicide Venzar® 80 SP:
Highly effective control of the most problematic dicot weeds in sugar beet
Broad spectrum of controlled weeds
High efficiency at low (+7 — +10) temperatures
Long-lasting protective effect
Guaranteed weed control
Flexible application: both pre-emergence and combined protection programs
Compatibility in tank mixes
Mode of action:
The active ingredient of Venzar® herbicide is primarily absorbed by the plant through the roots. For the active ingredient to reach the root zone and become available to emerging weeds, soil moisture, rainwater, or irrigation water is required. The herbicide penetrates the weed plant and blocks photosynthesis at the chloroplast level. The first symptoms are chlorosis of leaf veins, followed by yellowing of leaves and their eventual death, leading to complete weed death.
Protective action speed and duration
One application provides effective protection for crops for 21 — 42 days
Under sufficient soil moisture, sensitive weeds either do not emerge or die within 5-7 days
Rain or irrigation after application significantly improves its effect on sensitive weeds
To enhance weed control, the herbicide should be incorporated into the soil using light tillage tools such as Europack
Application of Venzar® 80 SP
Applied to soil:
Before sowing, during pre-sowing cultivation
During sowing
After sowing with mandatory incorporation
Venzar® 80 SP controls an extremely broad spectrum of dicot and some grass weeds belonging to different botanical families, but the most valuable is control of the most problematic weeds in sugar beet
Application rates:
Application rate — from 0.8 kg/ha to 2 kg/ha
The active ingredient of Venzar® 80 SP binds well to soil organic matter, so application rate is determined based on soil mechanical composition and humus content
Application in mixtures
Compromise solution for choosing pre-emergence and post-emergence programs is to use reduced rates of soil herbicides combined with post-emergence
Venzar® is compatible with most pesticides and liquid fertilizers
To extend control of annual grass weeds, enhance protective effect, and reduce number of applications, it is recommended to use Venzar® in tank mixtures with soil herbicides, such as Dual Gold
Caution! It is recommended to check compatibility of products before application in tank mixtures
Special recommendations:
In late and dry spring, Venzar® 80 SP should be applied before sowing with mandatory incorporation into the topsoil layer.
In early spring and sufficient soil moisture, it is more advisable to apply Venzar® 80 SP after sowing with mandatory incorporation.
Optimal application — during pre-sowing cultivation, when soil moisture is present and the product is mixed into the soil
Factors affecting herbicide efficacy:
Moisture content in the seedbed layer
Quality of pre-sowing soil preparation
Soil type
Application rate of working solution (L/ha)
Quality of herbicide incorporation
Factors affecting crop safety:
Choosing optimal rate based on soil mechanical composition and humus content
Proper sprayer calibration
Following spray schedule to avoid double application
Replanting dead crops
If replanting is necessary, within 4 months after Venzar® 80 SP application, only sugar beet can be sown
Other crops can be sown no sooner than 4 months later
Warning:
Do not apply Venzar® to sugar beet whose seeds have been treated with imidacloprid!
