Premium Freesia: The "Yubileynaya" Advantage

Developed by the Federal Research Centre of Subtropical Science (RAS) in collaboration with Georgian partners, the "Yubileynaya" freesia is a purpose-built variety designed for professional cut-flower production. It represents a balance between biological robustness and commercial viability, ensuring that operators can maintain consistent productivity throughout the season.

Cultivation and Operational Efficiency

Operating this variety in a greenhouse environment is straightforward for those familiar with freesia protocols. The stems are characterized by high structural integrity, which simplifies harvesting and reduces mechanical damage during transit. The variety responds exceptionally well to nutrient management, allowing growers to effectively time their harvest peaks. The maintenance of the crop is highly efficient, as the variety is resilient enough to handle standard commercial growing conditions without requiring excessive interventions.

Commercial Versatility

The primary draw of "Yubileynaya" is its color diversity. Offering white, yellow, and red petals within a single variety allows producers to streamline their greenhouse space and simplify logistics by focusing on a versatile genetic line. For the end-user, the long vase life of "Yubileynaya" ensures that the product retains its visual appeal far longer than generic varieties, directly maximizing the profit margins for both the producer and the retail partner.
