STRIPED SIDE

The eggplant variety «Striped Side» is a universal-purpose hybrid suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in film greenhouses. The plant features a strong, well-balanced structure and a robust root system, ensuring its stability and high productivity. The vegetative period lasts about 70-75 days, allowing for harvest in a relatively short time.

The eggplant fruits have an oval shape, measuring 16–18 cm in length and weighing from 260 to 500 grams. Their distinguishing feature is the red-purple color with white stripes, while the fruit surface is smooth and glossy. The flesh is whitish and non-bitter, making this variety particularly attractive for culinary use. The fruit calyx has no spines, which facilitates harvest collection and improves handling convenience.

For successful cultivation of the «Striped Side» variety, proper care is essential, including regular watering, fertilization, and bush formation. The recommended planting density is 30–35 thousand plants per hectare, which promotes optimal development and high yield, averaging 4.2 kg per square meter. Thanks to its storability and transportability, this eggplant is suitable for both home gardening and commercial production.
