Description Oksana F1
Oksana F1 Watermelon — a mid-early, large-fruited hybrid of the Pineapple type, developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. The plant's vegetative period is 65-70 days from seedling transplanting, allowing for a stable harvest both in open and protected ground. The plant features a medium-height, bushy plant with long and sturdy lateral stems, densely covered with leaves. Thanks to its dense foliage and strong root system, the watermelon tolerates sharp temperature fluctuations, drought, and high solar activity.

The fruits of the Oksana watermelon have an elongated-oval shape and large size, weighing between 4 to 7 kg. The rind is light orange or yellow with a characteristic rough netted pattern. The flesh is white, dense, uniform, and very juicy, with high sugar content — up to 11-12% — and B vitamins. The fruits have an attractive market appearance, withstand long-distance transport well, and retain their flavor during prolonged storage.

The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to common diseases of melon crops, such as Fusarium and viral necrotic spot, as well as moderate resistance to true powdery mildew. Due to these qualities and high productivity, Oksana F1 watermelon is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The fruits are recommended for fresh consumption, as well as for culinary use and processing.
