Marjoram «Organza» is a late-maturing variety that is easy to grow in greenhouses, open ground, or vertical farms. Plants reach a height of up to 50 cm and a diameter of about 30 cm, featuring a compact semi-upright growth habit that makes them suitable for intensive production.
The leaves of this marjoram are green, medium-sized, egg-shaped, hairless, and have a slightly wrinkled surface. They possess a bright aroma and high consumer qualities, making them suitable both fresh and dried as a seasoning for vegetable, potato, and meat dishes, as well as for preparing tea beverages.
The yield of green mass ranges from 3.4 to 4.2 kg/m², making the variety economically attractive. Commercial maturity is reached as early as 80–85 days after germination in open ground, while in run culture the period from sowing to harvest takes only 70–80 days. The flowers are light-purple and add decorative value to the plant.
