Description Zhavoronok
Cucumber variety Javoronok is an early-maturing, bee-pollinated hybrid that begins fruiting 45-50 days after germination. This variety is recommended for cultivation both in open fields and in protected ground, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions. Fruit clusters form in nodes with 2-4 fruits each, contributing to high yield and abundant fruiting.

Fruits of the Javoronok cucumber are 10-13 cm long, have a finely ribbed surface, and weigh approximately 70-90 grams. They are distinguished by excellent flavor without bitterness, making them ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, and preservation. When processed, the fruits retain juiciness and crisp texture, which is an important advantage for home preservation.

To achieve maximum yield in greenhouses, plants are tied to trellises and formed into single stems, with lateral shoots pinched off above the second or third leaf. The recommended planting density is 2-3 plants per square meter. Yield under plastic coverings reaches 12-14 kg per square meter. Regular harvesting every 2-3 days helps maintain high quality and prolonged fruiting.
