Jandarm cucumber is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid that begins fruiting as early as day 39-46 after emergence of seedlings. The plant is climbing and indeterminate, with predominantly female flowers, ensuring stable and high fruiting without pollination. Due to its parthenocarpy, the variety is characterized by high yield and is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic covers, as well as indoors.
The fruits of the Jandarm cucumber have a finely ribbed surface and cylindrical shape, 9-11 cm long, with each green fruit weighing 85-95 grams. Genetically free of bitterness, they have an especially pleasant taste. Flavor qualities are preserved both fresh and after canning, expanding the range of uses for the harvest. The variety is characterized by good storage life, allowing the fruits to remain fresh for a longer period.
