SHUSTIK

The cucumber variety Shustik is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid, intended for cultivation in open ground, greenhouses, and under temporary plastic coverings. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 39 to 48 days, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is strong-growing, medium-branched, female-flowering, with clusters or bouquet-like inflorescences at nodes, bearing 3 to 8 fruits. Leaves are medium-sized, green, ensuring good plant development.

The fruits of cucumber Shustik have a cylindrical shape, 10 to 12 cm long and weighing 90 to 110 grams. The zucchini are dark green with small light stripes and mottling, covered with medium or large bumps with white hairs and spines. The skin is tough, the flesh crisp and aromatic, with a small seed cavity. The taste of the fruits is good and sweet, making them suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and pickling.

The hybrid Shustik is characterized by high resistance to adverse environmental conditions and major cucumber diseases, ensuring stable and high yields. Marketable yield in open ground ranges from 2.5 kg to 11.7 kg per square meter depending on growing conditions. This variety is valued for its excellent market qualities, versatility, and ability to produce an early and abundant harvest.
