Lyutoyar F1 is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid developed by the Turkish seed company Yuksel Tohum. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected soil, including spring-summer and summer-autumn rotations. The plant is characterized by moderate branching and compactness, with a cluster-type fruit formation, enabling simultaneous ripening of 2-3 zucchini in one axil and up to 20 fruits per plant. The vegetation period ranges from 50 to 55 days, allowing for early and abundant harvests.
The fruits of Lyutoyar zucchini have a cylindrical shape with large bumps, a rich dark green color, and an average length of 9-12 cm with a weight of 90-110 grams. The flesh is dense, crisp, aromatic, and free of voids or bitterness, making this variety especially attractive for fresh consumption. The seed cavity is poorly developed, and the fruit surface is covered with frequent white spiny hairs. Due to its flavor qualities and market appeal, Lyutoyar zucchini are widely used for salad preparation and preservation.
The variety exhibits high resistance to diseases, including powdery mildew, zucchini mosaic virus, bacterial wilt, as well as white and gray rot, which is especially important when grown in the second rotation or under rainy summer conditions. Lyutoyar zucchini demonstrate stress tolerance, good storage, and transportability, making them convenient for commercial cultivation and marketing. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds in warmed soil at a depth of 3-4 cm in May, provide plants with water, warmth, and light, and regularly fertilize with nutrients.
