Cucumber SUMMER AROMA

Focus on Natural Pollination

The 'Aromat Leta' (Summer Aroma) cucumber from 'Ooo Tsentr Ogorodnik' is tailored for growers who prioritize traditional flavor and natural fruit development. As a bee-pollinated variety, it yields fruits with a rich, authentic taste often lost in modern industrial parthenocarpic hybrids.

Resilience and Plant Health

The main advantage of this variety is its generative nature combined with strong resistance to critical pathogens. 'Aromat Leta' shows significant immunity against cucumber mosaic virus and powdery mildew, making it a reliable performer in regions where fluctuating weather conditions heighten disease pressure. This reduces the need for heavy chemical intervention throughout the season.

Key Crop Specifications

• Fruit: Medium-length (7–9 cm), dark green, with prominent tubercles (bumps).
• Application: Universal, specifically prized for pickling and canning due to its firm, crunchy texture.
• Cultivation: Highly adaptable to both open-field conditions and greenhouses.

Strengths: Robust virus resistance and superior canning quality. Consideration: Being bee-pollinated, it requires insect access if grown in greenhouses. This variety is an optimal choice for small-to-mid-scale farms seeking a balance between low-maintenance plant growth and high-quality market output.
