Cucumber STRAUSS (Worgebirgstraube) is an early-maturing, self-pollinating German variety suitable for both open ground and greenhouses. Compact, bushy plants save space in rows. Fruits are gherkin-type, elongated-cylindrical, 7-9 cm long and 80-90 g in weight. They are dark green with large bumps and often have a characteristic "German shirt" pattern. The flesh is crisp, juicy, and highly aromatic, with a small seed cavity, making them ideal for pickling and preserving.

This variety is characterized by high yield and disease resistance, including powdery mildew and cucumber mosaic virus. The more frequently fruits are harvested, the more new flower buds form, ensuring a steady and abundant harvest. Plants are vigorous, medium-height, with female-type flowering, which promotes parthenocarpic fruit formation without pollination.
