Marusya

Cucumber variety MARUSYA is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation in spring plastic unheated greenhouses and open ground. The plant is female-flowering with 2-3 female flowers per node, medium-branched, with medium-sized green leaves. The fruits of this variety are short, cylindrical, with a short neck, dark green in color with very short stripes, finely ribbed, and covered with a medium-density white down. The average fruit weight is about 70-80 grams, and the taste is of excellent quality. The MARUSYA variety is characterized by high market yield, reaching 11.2 kg per square meter, and stable fruiting even under adverse weather conditions. Harvesting begins approximately on the 50th day after emergence of full seedlings, allowing for early harvest of fresh cucumbers in the season. The fruits are dense, juicy, and have a bright green color, making them attractive for salad and canning use. Additionally, the variety exhibits good resistance to major cucumber diseases, such as cladosporiosis, cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), powdery mildew (PM), as well as tolerance to downy mildew (DM).
