SALIERI — an early parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, intended for cultivation in greenhouses, polytunnels, and under plastic coverings. The plant is vigorous, climbing, with a female flower type, ensuring stable fruit formation without the need for pollination. The fruits are cylindrical, 11–13 cm long, weighing 90–120 g, dark green in color with large bumps and spines. The fruits are dense, without cavities, with a sweet and aromatic flavor, making them suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and salting. The hybrid is characterized by high yield — up to 18 kg per square meter — and uniform fruit size, facilitating transportation and storage. The plants are indeterminate, moderately branched, with a predominant number of female flowers per node equal to two, promoting abundant fruiting. The leaves are medium-sized and green, indicating good plant development and resistance to adverse conditions. SALIERI exhibits resistance to a complex of diseases, including cladosporiosis and powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss and the need for chemical protection. Due to these qualities and excellent fruit flavor, the hybrid is popular among gardeners and farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable cucumber yields for various purposes.
