Description Vasilisa
Cucumber VASILISA is a bee-pollinated early-maturing hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and plastic greenhouses. The plant is tall with weak branching, which simplifies care and harvesting. Fruit set begins 49-54 days after emergence, enabling early harvest. Fruits are cylindrical, light green, 8.5-11 cm long, weighing 80-105 grams. Fruit surface is moderately ribbed, with dense black and brown hairs, giving them an attractive appearance and high quality.

For successful cultivation of VASILISA cucumbers, it is recommended to use highly fertile, well-drained soils with low nitrogen content. In case of very acidic soils, liming is necessary to improve growing conditions. The hybrid is tolerant to powdery mildew and resistant to bacterial wilt and true powdery mildew, significantly reducing disease risk and enhancing harvest stability.

Agronomic recommendations include sowing from May 15 to June 5 using a planting scheme of 70 x 30-40 cm. Harvesting takes place from July 15 to August 15, with yields reaching 6.0-8.0 kg per square meter. VASILISA cucumbers are distinguished by their attractive, high-quality fruits, suitable for both fresh consumption and canning, making this hybrid versatile and popular among gardeners.
