Cucumber Priority

Working with the "Prioritet" cucumber

When working with parthenocarpic hybrids from "Agrofirma Poisk", you immediately appreciate their predictability. "Prioritet" is a generative-type hybrid that doesn't waste energy on excessive foliage, focusing instead on high yield. For a grower, this is a major advantage: less pruning and more focus on the main stem productivity.

Key performance indicators

• Virus resistance. Dealing with mosaic viruses, yellows, and leaf curling is the biggest challenge in greenhouse farming. This hybrid shows excellent immunity, significantly reducing the need for intensive chemical treatments.
• Versatility. The plant performs consistently well in both protected greenhouse conditions and open fields. It produces uniform, dark-green fruits ranging from 10 to 12 cm, which are ideal for market sales.
• Operational ease. As a parthenocarpic type, it requires no insect pollination, making it an excellent choice for closed-structure farming where manual labor must be minimized.

Maintenance is straightforward: focus on irrigation and timely harvesting. The plant stays well-balanced if picked regularly. The fruit remains firm without hollow centers, retaining its dark color and shape during transport. "Prioritet" is a solid choice for those who need reliable genetics and consistent output without over-complicating the cultivation process.
