Cucumber variety PRIZE is a medium-early salad hybrid intended for cultivation in protected soil. The plant is medium-height, predominantly female-flowering, which promotes the formation of 1-3 fruits per node. The period from full emergence to the first harvest is 54-56 days, allowing for relatively quick harvests.
Fruits of the PRIZE cucumber have an elongated-cylindrical shape with large bumps, colored green with short stripes and white spines. Fruit length reaches 18-20 cm, and weight varies from 200 to 215 grams. Due to its excellent taste qualities, this variety is ideal for fresh consumption.
A key feature of this variety is its high resistance to cucumber diseases, as well as increased shade tolerance, making it more adaptable to conditions of insufficient light. Bee-pollination contributes to good fruit formation and stable yield.
