LUKHOVITSKIY

Cucumber variety LUKHOVITSKIY is a universal parthenocarpic hybrid of female flowering type, distinguished by early maturity — fruits are ready for harvest 45-50 days after germination. The plant is indeterminate, with medium branching and green leaves, ensuring good growth and high yield. Fruits are oval-shaped, 10-13 cm long and 95-120 g in weight, dark green in color with blurred light stripes or often with small bumps. They are firm, crisp, free of bitterness, and have a strong aroma, making them suitable for salads, pickling, and canning.

Variety LUKHOVITSKIY is highly resistant to main cucumber diseases such as true and false powdery mildew, as well as root rot. It is drought-tolerant and shade-tolerant, allowing cultivation both in protected ground (greenhouses and tunnels) and in open ground under temporary plastic coverings. Plants form 2-4 or more fruiting nodes in leaf axils, contributing to uniform and early harvest. Yield reaches 9.7-10.5 kg per square meter, and each plant can produce 6-8 kg of fruit.

Lukhovitskiy cucumber is valued for its high taste quality, good storability, and transportability of fruits, making it popular among gardeners and farmers.
