Description ATY-BATY
Cucumber variety ATY-BATY is a medium-late, bee-pollinated variety with a long-vining plant. The fruits of this variety have a length of 9 to 11 cm and a weight of 100-120 g, they are ribbed, dark green, and do not yellow for a long time, which ensures long-term preservation of flavor and commercial qualities. The variety is characterized by high productivity and disease resistance, making it attractive for cultivation both in open ground and under greenhouse conditions.

Cucumber ATY-BATY can be grown using two methods: direct sowing of seeds into the soil and transplanting seedlings. Sowing in open ground is recommended when the soil has warmed to 15-20°C during the day and not below 8°C at night. Seeds are sown at a depth of 1.5-2.0 cm into furrows or holes, previously watered and mulched with peat or composted manure, then covered with plastic film to create optimal germination conditions. In greenhouses and tunnels, seed sowing begins at the beginning of May, and seedlings with 3-5 true leaves are transplanted in mid-May.

To ensure successful fruit formation, it is recommended to follow a planting scheme of 70x40 cm and pinch off the main stem above the 5th-7th leaf, which promotes the development of side shoots, on which the fruits form. This cultivation approach ensures a stable yield of high-quality cucumbers with excellent taste characteristics and a long storage life.
