Watering should be frequent, as the root system is located in the topsoil layer and cannot penetrate deeply, requiring soil moisture to be maintained, especially during hot weather. Special attention should be paid to potassium fertilization, as potassium is quickly leached from the soil with frequent watering. Deficiency of this element manifests as changes in fruit shape — they become similar to "pears" or "lightbulbs." To prevent such problems, from early July, it is recommended to use wood ash tea.
