This variety is versatile in use: cucumbers are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for pickling. Due to its low maintenance and disease resistance, "Kurnosik F1" is recommended for cultivation both in open ground and in containers such as barrels or kegs. It is important not to overstay seedlings on windowsills, as insufficient light causes them to stretch and weaken, negatively affecting their subsequent growth and disease resistance. Cucumbers grow rapidly and require regular feeding, especially organic fertilizers such as cow manure tea and green compost. Watering should be frequent, as the root system is located in the topsoil layer and cannot penetrate deeply, requiring soil moisture to be maintained, especially during hot weather. Special attention should be paid to potassium fertilization, as potassium is quickly leached from the soil with frequent watering. Deficiency of this element manifests as changes in fruit shape — they become similar to "pears" or "lightbulbs." To prevent such problems, from early July, it is recommended to use wood ash tea.
