KUM DA KUMA

Kum da Kuma F1 — a fast-maturing hybrid cucumber, intended for cultivation in open ground and under light plastic coverings. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is approximately 40-48 days, enabling early harvest. For obtaining early fruits, cultivation via seedlings is possible. The plant exhibits mixed or female flowering type with high female flower saturation and cluster formation of 2-3 fruits per node, contributing to high yield.

The fruits of Kum da Kuma cucumber are cylindrical, 10-11 cm long and 3.5-4 cm in diameter. They are dark green with small light stripes, large sparse bumps, and black or white spines. Fruit weight varies from 80 to 130 grams. The cucumbers have excellent taste — juicy, crunchy, and non-bitter. After harvest, they retain their consumer qualities for a long time and do not turn yellow.

The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to unfavorable growing conditions and main cucumber diseases, as well as weather stress tolerance. Kum da Kuma cucumbers are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, salad preparation, canning, and especially recommended for barrel pickling. The optimal soil temperature for seed germination is 25-30°С.
