ISKANDER

Iskander is an early hybrid zucchini with a cylindrical shape, developed by the Dutch company Seminis. The fruits have a light green, thin, glossy skin with small white spots, measuring 17 to 24 cm in length and up to 700 g in weight. The flesh is tender, pale cream-colored, with a pleasant sweet taste. The plants are compact and semi-spreading, with high resistance to low temperatures, allowing cultivation both in greenhouses and open fields. The Iskander hybrid is characterized by very high yields: 40 to 60 tons per hectare, and up to 15-18 kg per plant. The maturation period is approximately 40-48 days after sowing, allowing the first harvest to be collected as early as 7-10 days after flowering, and then regularly every 2-3 days. Plants form 4-5 fruits per branch, which retain their flavor and market appearance even at large sizes. Thanks to its short vegetation period and cold resistance, the Iskander zucchini can bear fruit until the first autumn frosts. This makes it an excellent choice for both commercial cultivation on agrocomplexes and for home gardeners aiming to obtain a stable and abundant harvest of tasty, high-quality zucchini.
