Savoy cabbage of the URALOCHKA variety is a late-maturing variety with a maturation period from seedling transplanting to harvest of 95-100 days. The plant forms large light-green leaves with strong blistering and pronounced corrugation, giving it a characteristic appearance. The heads are round, dense, with a yellowish tint on the cut, and weigh from 1 to 2.2 kg. The cabbage is distinguished by its resistance to cracking, which ensures crop preservation and convenient storage.
This variety is valued not only for its taste qualities, which are considered good and exquisite, but also for its high vitamin C content and other beneficial substances. Savoy cabbage URALOCHKA has valuable food and dietary properties, improves digestion and metabolism, and supports the cardiovascular system. Thanks to these characteristics, it is especially beneficial for children and the elderly.
For successful cultivation of URALOCHKA cabbage, it is recommended to choose well-lit areas with fertile and well-moistened soils. It is important to ensure sufficient lighting throughout the day, as shading can negatively affect head formation. Soils with an acidic reaction should be limed to achieve an optimal pH level of 5.5–5.6. Sowing is conducted in April, and seedling transplanting in May with a row spacing of 60 by 60 cm. The harvest is collected in July, with yields reaching 8-10 kg per square meter. The cabbage is recommended for fresh consumption, which allows for the maximum preservation of its beneficial properties and taste.
