Cucumber variety EXPERT is a parthenocarpic (self-pollinating) variety characterized by high yield and cluster formation of fruit set. The fruits of this variety are dark green, nearly smooth and uniform, without bitterness, making them ideal for producing gherkins. The maturation period is 43–47 days from germination, allowing the variety to be grown both in open ground and in protected environments.

The plant is an annual climbing herbaceous species with a robust root system reaching up to 3.5 meters in height. To achieve maximum productive potential, balanced climatic conditions and optimal soil temperature within the range of 18–20 ºC are required. Cucumber EXPERT adapts well to various soil types with loose structure, good drainage, and adequate organic matter content.

To enhance yield and product quality, modern agrotechnologies are recommended, including the application of beneficial bacteria that promote plant growth through nutrient solubilization and biostimulation. Specifically, the synergistic bacterial mixture KOMPO EXPERT, in combination with the complex fertilizer Hakaphos® Calcidic containing nitrogen, potassium, and calcium, improves plant nutrition, soil structure, and fruit quality. The high calcium content not only enhances nutrition but also extends fruit storage life, while the high acidity of the fertilizer prevents clogging of drip lines and promotes uptake of micronutrients and phosphorus.
