VARVAR — a high-yielding parthenocarpic hybrid of ribbed cucumber, intended for winter-spring turnover. The plant features a strong, healthy leaf canopy and a robust root system, ensuring high ecological plasticity and resistance to root rots. The cucumber is suitable for cultivation under light culture with illumination of 15,000 lux and above, as well as well-developed on trellis with support. The hybrid demonstrates excellent fruit set and continuous fruiting throughout the entire vegetation period.

VARVAR fruits have a cylindrical shape, length of about 20-22 cm, and a deep green color with even coloring and green tip. The ridges on the fruit surface are medium-sized and fairly frequent, with a smooth base and slight taper. 1 to 4 fruits form in the axils, contributing to high yield. The fruits are dense with a small seed cavity, possessing an attractive appearance and high standard product output. The length-to-diameter ratio is approximately 3.2:1.

The hybrid exhibits good resistance to true powdery mildew and tolerance to cucumber mosaic virus. The fruits have an excellent sweet flavor without bitterness, excellent storage and transport qualities, making VARVAR an outstanding choice for commercial cultivation and marketing. Short internodes and moderate leafiness facilitate ease of care and harvesting.
