Description ESKIMO
ESKIMO — an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, suitable for cultivation in open and protected soil. This variety features a female flowering type and does not require pollination, ensuring stable fruiting. The fruits are cylindrical, 8-10 cm long, dark green with blurred whitish stripes extending halfway along the fruit. They are large-buckled, black-spined, crisp, and sweet, without bitterness, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as pickling and preservation.

One of the key features of the ESKIMO hybrid is its high resistance to adverse conditions, particularly olive spot disease, true and false powdery mildew. Additionally, plants can withstand prolonged nighttime temperatures down to +5-7 °C without delaying root system growth, making this variety especially suitable for cultivation in northern regions with cool climates.

For successful cultivation, use peat pots with prepared soil consisting of compost, turf soil, and sand. Sow seeds at a depth of 1.5 cm at an air and soil temperature of 20-23 °C with even moisture without overwatering. After germination, maintain a temperature not lower than 14 °C and conduct 1-2 feedings with complete mineral fertilizer with a predominance of nitrogen. Seedlings are transplanted after the threat of frost has passed.
