Description ARDON
ARDON — a mid-season parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, intended for cultivation in open ground and under temporary plastic coverings. The plant is indeterminate, single-stemmed, with predominantly female flowers, ensuring stable fruit formation. Typically, one or two female flowers develop at each node, contributing to high yield. Leaves are medium-sized and dark green, indicating good plant development.

ARDON fruits have a short cylindrical shape, dark green color with short stripes and weak mottling. The fruit surface is bumpy with white down, giving them an attractive appearance. Green fruit weight varies from 60 to 100 grams depending on growing conditions. The taste of the fruits is excellent, making this hybrid particularly suitable for salads and pickling.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield: in plastic greenhouses, it reaches 24 kg per square meter, and in open ground — 7–9 kg per square meter. The period from mass seedling emergence to technical maturity is 40–50 days, allowing for an early harvest. Due to its characteristics and taste qualities, ARDON is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking high-quality and tasty cucumbers.
