Izobilny

Cucumber variety Izobilny is a late-maturing, bee-pollinated hybrid with predominantly female flowering, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The fruits are cylindrical with a bumpy surface, reaching up to 7 cm in length and 80-90 g in weight. The fruits have excellent flavor, making them suitable for fresh consumption and canning.

The Izobilny hybrid exhibits high resistance to common cucumber diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, and mosaic, ensuring a stable yield and reducing the need for frequent protective treatments. For successful cultivation, direct sowing of seeds into warmed soil at 15-20°C during the day and not below 8°C at night is recommended. Alternatively, seedlings aged 20-25 days with 3-5 true leaves can be transplanted.

Soil preparation includes using a substrate of peat, compost, sand, and fertilizers, which promotes good plant development. To retain moisture and improve growing conditions, mulching the soil with a layer of peat or composted manure is recommended. This complex of agronomic practices allows obtaining a high-quality yield of Izobilny cucumbers with excellent flavor and high disease resistance.
