Cucumber Izobilie

Reliable crop performance from domestic breeding

The 'Izobilie' cucumber variety, developed by Elizaveta Romanovna Kudryavtseva, is an established selection focused on delivering predictable, high-quality yields. In a market often saturated with costly imports, this model retains its significance due to its high adaptability and resilience, making it a preferred choice for both small-scale farmers and home gardeners.

Agricultural specifications and utility

This variety exhibits notable plasticity across various cultivation environments. It performs consistently well in both protected glass greenhouses and open-field conditions. Key fruit parameters ensure 'Izobilie' remains a versatile solution for both fresh market demand and home processing:

• Fruit texture: small-tubercled (pickling type) with characteristic spikes, providing a classic commercial aesthetic.
• Dimensions: compact fruits, 7–9 cm in length, are ideally suited for pickling and preserving.
• Color: a consistent light-green hue that remains stable under varying levels of solar exposure.

By balancing ease of cultivation with consistent yield metrics, this variety helps growers keep production costs efficient. Its minimal requirement for intensive management makes it a standout option for those seeking a balance between effort and harvest reliability.
