Description ZKS OSIRIS
ZKS OSIRIS — a high-yielding trihybrid corn for grain production, belonging to the early-maturing group with a vegetation period of 90–105 days and capable of forming up to two ears per plant. The plant reaches a height of about 170 cm and has approximately 15 leaves. The grain is silken, with a yellow-orange coloration on the upper part, and the 1000-seed weight is 259 g. The ear shape is intermediate, which promotes good development and yield formation.

The hybrid exhibits high yield potential — up to 94 centners per hectare under optimal conditions and up to 75 centners per hectare in areas with sufficient moisture. The recommended planting density varies depending on conditions: 75–80 thousand seeds per hectare under sufficient moisture and 65–70 thousand seeds per hectare in dry conditions. ZKS OSIRIS demonstrates good moisture release during ripening, which facilitates harvesting and reduces yield losses.

Special attention has been paid to the hybrid’s resistance to adverse factors. It shows high resistance to common smut, tolerance to ear Fusarium and southern helminthosporium. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits enhanced cold and lodging resistance, as well as drought tolerance. Recommended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem region, as well as in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine.
