Corn UNI3312 is a mid-season variety with dent kernel type, suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine. Plants of semi-erect type reach a height of 250 to 300 cm, with ear attachment height of 50-60 cm. The average number of rows per ear varies from 16 to 18, with 544 to 684 kernels per row, ensuring high yield. Under optimal conditions, the 1000-seed mass reaches 290 grams, and grain yield at 14% moisture can achieve significant levels, making this variety attractive for farmers. UNI3312 variety is distinguished by high resistance to stalk diseases and fusarium, as well as enhanced cold tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine. Planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 50-60 thousand plants per hectare in dry conditions, 70-80 thousand under unstable moisture, and 60-70 thousand under adequate moisture. Rapid water release contributes to timely maturity and reduces the risk of yield loss. Corn is not only a valuable agricultural product but also a beneficial food ingredient. Kernels contain vitamins E, A, C, as well as minerals — calcium, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium, and niacin, which contribute to improved vision, strengthened immunity, and overall health improvement. The product helps cleanse blood vessels of bad cholesterol, prevents thrombus formation, and normalizes gastrointestinal tract function. Thanks to its high antioxidant content, corn promotes tissue and cell regeneration, combats stress, and slows down skin aging processes. In culinary applications, corn kernels are widely used in soups, side dishes, baked goods, and dietary meals, imparting vibrant flavor and nutritional value.
