Veritis

The Veritis corn hybrid is a medium-early three-line hybrid of the silvery-serrated type with a FAO number of 210. The plant is of medium height with a strong ear attachment at a height of approximately 129 cm. The kernels are semi-silky, yellow-orange in color, with row numbers ranging from 14 to 16 and 28 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight varies from 250 to 320 grams. The hybrid is characterized by rapid moisture release, enabling early harvest and additional profit. Veritis is suitable for both grain and silage, making it a versatile choice for various agronomic purposes.

The hybrid is included in the State Register for the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, and Lower Volga regions of Ukraine, where it demonstrates high yields, exceeding standards in some areas. It is resistant to fusarium, southern helminthosporiosis, and bacterial diseases, but susceptible to ear rot, stalk rot, and corn borer. The plant exhibits moderate anthocyanin coloration of the silk and weak cob stem coloration in half of the plants.

The recommended planting density depends on soil moisture levels: 65,000–70,000 seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 75,000–90,000 seeds under adequate moisture. The hybrid demonstrates high adaptability to various growing conditions and agrofond, allowing for cost savings on crop rotation and minimal crop care. The hybrid is produced in Ukraine, ensuring its compliance with local climatic and agronomic requirements.
