Phytosanitary Barrier

The key feature of Veritis is its high natural resistance to a complex of pathogens that annually consume up to 20% of corn yields in Eurasia. Originators Lidea and Euralis have engineered resistance to Helminthosporium leaf blight and bacteriosis into the genome. Practically, this translates into reduced fungicide application costs. Special attention is paid to protection against the European corn borer; the structural integrity of the stalk and tissue density limit the pest's ability to localize within the plant.

Technological Flexibility

Veritis demonstrates a unique range of adaptation. A vegetation period of 120–140 days and FAO 90–1240 ratings allow for flexible harvest planning depending on farm objectives:
