Talentro

Corn hybrid Talentro is a three-line hybrid with a silvery-serrated kernel type and medium-early maturity group (FAO 260). This hybrid is characterized by excellent vegetative development, rapid initial growth rates, and high cold tolerance, ensuring stability and high yield potential up to 160 c/ha. The Talentro ear has good fill, length of 18–25 cm, diameter of 3–5 cm, with 14–16 rows of kernels, each containing 28–40 kernels, totaling 440–540 kernels per ear. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 290–380 g, and protein content reaches 9.1%, indicating high grain quality.

This hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including western, central, northeastern, and southern areas. Recommended planting density depends on soil moisture levels: under optimal moisture, the rate is 75–80 thousand seeds per hectare; under suboptimal conditions, it is 65–70 thousand. Plant height ranges from 290 to 320 cm, and ear attachment height ranges from 100 to 120 cm. Talentro exhibits resistance to lodging, plant breakage, and diseases such as stalk rot, downy mildew, helminthosporium, and fusarium, enhancing harvest reliability.

Practical cultivation results confirm the high productivity and adaptability of the Talentro hybrid. Yield across various regions of Ukraine ranged from 71.7 to 137.7 c/ha depending on region and weather conditions. Due to its agronomic traits and versatility, Talentro is an excellent choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality corn harvest under different climatic conditions.
