Corn hybrid Tactic (FAO 200) is a simple modified hybrid characterized by high stability and quality of yield. This hybrid exhibits high drought, disease, and lodging resistance, ensuring stable and high-quality harvest even under adverse climatic conditions. Tactic is suitable for cultivation in all climatic zones of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe, making it a universal solution for agricultural enterprises in the country.
Tactic corn seeds are supplied in packages of 80,000 seeds and undergo fungicidal treatment with "Lumiflex", "Lumidapt", and "Kelta", enhancing their protection against diseases. The hybrid features high stem strength and resistance to lodging, as well as excellent dark resistance. The grain contains 72-72.7% starch and 9.8-10.4% protein, indicating high product quality and nutritional value.
For successful cultivation of Tactic corn, attention must be paid to pest control, as pests can cause significant yield losses. Main pests include corn stem borer and bollworm, which damage vascular bundles and ears, causing stem breakage and reduced yield. Effective pest control includes monitoring pest populations and timely application of insecticides such as Borey®, Decis f-lux, and Karate Zeon, along with microelement and urea fertilization to enhance plant resilience. This integrated approach ensures crop protection and maximum yield from Tactic hybrid cultivation.
