Corn SU RAPIROL is an early hybrid of sweet corn, American selection, from Spark Seeds. This hybrid is characterized by a short vegetation period — only 60-62 days, allowing for very early harvest. The plant is strong, reaching a height of 155-170 cm, with ear attachment height of 45-50 cm. Ears measuring 22-24 cm in length and about 5.2 cm in diameter have a bright yellow color and consist of 16-18 rows of kernels, each 12 mm in height. Average yield is approximately 1.7 ears per plant, with seeding rates ranging from 40,000 to 50,000 plants per hectare.
The distinctive feature of the SU RAPIROL hybrid is its high sugar content in the kernels — about 27%, giving it exceptional sweetness and tenderness. Due to low starch content, the ears retain their consumer qualities for a long time, making this hybrid ideal not only for fresh consumption but also for freezing. The leaves tightly cover the ears, protecting them from pests and helping maintain product quality.
SU RAPIROL corn seeds can be sown either by direct seeding into warmed soil or by transplanting seedlings for an early harvest. The hybrid is well-adapted to various growing conditions and suitable for use in conveyor systems. Seed packaging is available in 2500 or 25000 units, convenient for various planting scales.
