SEGEDI TK 465

SEGEDI TK 465 — an early-maturing corn hybrid developed at the Voronezh Experimental Station of VNIIC. Plants of medium height, reaching 210-240 cm, with well-leafed stems and medium-length ears. The hybrid's grain is yellow, intermediate in type, closer to dent, ensuring rapid drying and high-quality market grain. The vegetation period is 110-120 days, allowing the hybrid to be grown in various climatic zones.

The hybrid shows high resistance to several diseases and pests: it is resistant to southern helminthosporium, blister leaf spot, and ear rot, as well as exhibiting high resistance to corn borer. Additionally, SEGEDI TK 465 demonstrates good drought tolerance and resistance to lodging, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under limited water conditions.

SEGEDI TK 465 is suitable for cultivation as grain, silage, and grain-stalk mass in various regions, including Central and Lower Volga. The recommended plant density varies from 60 to 75 thousand per hectare depending on the moisture zone and crop purpose. The hybrid's yield potential ranges from 95 to 145 centners per hectare in production and variety-testing conditions, confirming its high productivity and adaptability.
