SAT 265 MV

Corn seeds SAT 265 MV are a medium-early simple modified hybrid with FAO 260, developed in Ukraine for grain production. Plants reach a height of 228-240 cm, do not tiller, and the ear attachment height is 81-91 cm. The ears have a conical-cylindrical shape, 20-24 cm long, with 14-18 rows of kernels. The kernels are yellow, dent-shaped, with a 1000-kernel weight of approximately 237-260 g. The ear stalk is red, which is a distinctive feature of this hybrid.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including common rust, stalk rot, and helminthosporium. It also shows good tolerance to Fusarium stalk and root rot, as well as drought and lodging. The initial growth energy is rated at 9 points, which promotes rapid plant development in the early stage. The potential yield of the hybrid varies depending on the cultivation zone and reaches 13 t/ha in the Polissia, 14.2 t/ha in the Forest-Steppe, and 11.9 t/ha in the Steppe.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to apply mineral fertilizers according to soil type and preceding crop. During the 3-4 leaf stage, it is advisable to use the universal microfertilizer NewPlant Neo (2 l/ha), and during the 6-8 leaf stage – NewPlant Zinc (1 l/ha) and NewPlant Polyazot IQ (3 l/ha). The seeds are coated for reliable protection and packaged in paper bags of 25 kg. The recommended planting density is 65-70 thousand plants per hectare in the Forest-Steppe and 50-55 thousand plants per hectare in the Steppe.
