Corn S3909 is a mid-season silage hybrid with FAO maturity group 390, characterized by high cold resistance and adaptability to growing conditions. This hybrid is recommended for cultivation in all zones, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. Plants reach heights of 270 to 320 cm, with ear attachment heights ranging from 55 to 100 cm. The kernels are dent-type, with 16 to 18 rows per ear and 34 to 40 kernels per row, ensuring high green mass yield. S3909 exhibits high resistance to root lodging, head smut, and fusarium, making it a reliable choice for farmers. The hybrid demonstrates good drought tolerance and adaptability to various climatic conditions, confirmed by stable yields across different regions. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 55 to 75 thousand plants per hectare, allowing optimization of productivity under various agronomic conditions. Green mass yield at 70% moisture reaches high levels, for example, 69.48 t/ha in the Ternopil region and more than 55 t/ha in other regions of Ukraine.
